History:  
Growing up Jarah’s family were well-known trail guards.  She grew up on a horse with a gun in her hand protecting merchants, travelers and sometimes just driving livestock to market across the plains.  Now some people like to say the Jones’ weren’t nothing but dirty smugglers, and it may be true they did some transports the law wasn’t made aware of, but they upheld their own standards and never traded in people.  

Raisin a family on the trail wasn’t always easy but with all the Aunties/Uncles and cousins and family around she wouldn’t have it any other way.  She loved Adrian deeply and all 7 of their kids and she had a pretty good life.  The whole vampire thing came about when she was 52 workin with the family, fell under attack.  It was a rough time adjusting to the change but with the support of her family they figured it out.  These days she still works with the family on occasion, though after about 17 generations the families quite a bit bigger, and a bit more influential, trading (and smuggling around the continent and sometimes beyond.  She mostly does her own thing but in almost every town she can find a place to stay with Kin that know the legend of Mama J and when anything threatens the family she’s there to protect what’s hers.
